Our History
Established in 1980, the original name, Holidog Inn, was changed when the kennel was purchased by Pegden Kennels Corporation. Now in business over 25 years, we offer a clean, fresh country atmosphere for pets, and are dedicated to treating your pet like a member of the family.
Our Credentials
Owned and operated since 1990 by resident manager, Peggy Lloyd, native Texan, having over 25 years experience as a breeder of champions and professional dog handler/trainer, and currently an American Kennel Club sanctioned dog judge, approved to judge multiple groups, Best in Show and Junior Showmanship.
Tours
Tours are encouraged.   Please accept our invitation to visit Pecan Grove Kennel & Cattery. We'd love to meet you and welcome the chance for you to see for yourself the very special accommodations we provide.  Tours are preferred between Noon & 3pm M-F, EXCEPT DURING HOLIDAYS.

From I-10 East or West

Exit Grand Parkway and turn South. Proceed to FM 1093 and turn right. Go to the second traffic light and turn left on FM 723. Proceed to the second traffic light and turn left on FM 359. Proceed two miles and turn right on Richmond-Foster Rd. We are the third driveway on the left.


From Hwy.59 North or South

Exit on Hwy. 6 and proceed North to Hwy. 90. Turn West on Hwy. 90 and proceed to the second traffic light at FM 359. Turn right on FM 359 and go 4.5 miles to Richmond-Foster Rd. Turn left and we are the third driveway on the left.

From Hwy.6

Proceed on Hwy. 6 to its intersection of Hwy. 90 and turn West. Proceed to the second traffic light at FM 359. Turn right on FM 359 and go 4.5 miles to Richmond-Foster Rd. Turn left and we are the third driveway on the left.
